What’s Not Included:

1. Tip: Guides may only be coming to work exclusively for reservations. Show them love $20 per person is appropriate and can be pre-purchased when booking. Not tipping is unacceptable, all groups that do not tip will be charged the minimum tip rated for the tour, in this case $20 per person. 

Where and When To Meet For Tours: 

We launch directly from the beach, no boat, just south of Anglers Pier in Lauderdale-By-The-Sea at 1 Datura Ave Lauderdale-By-The-Sea, Florida 33308. Please arrive a 30 mins early for your tour with your liability waiver signed and ready to get in the water.

Need To Know: 

This is a public tour. Before participating in any tour at Square Grouper SoFlo/Mr. Snorkel, all participants must sign a Liability Waiver. Each tour lasts approximately one hour and is limited to 15 participants for a more personal experience. Participants should arrive 20 minutes before the start of the tour to be fitted with equipment and receive instructions. A non-refundable $10 reservation deposit is required to book a tour.

Snorkeling is a relatively low-impact activity, but it does require the ability to swim, float, and tread water for one hour with a snorkel vest(Not a Lifejacket). Our private snorkel tours are recommended for those 5 years of age and older with a the ability to swim, this is not a swim lesson. If you have any medical conditions such as asthma, heart problems, mobility issues, or allergies, it is important to inform the tour operator before booking.

Safety is of the utmost importance on all snorkel tours, and participants are expected to follow the instructions of the guide and the safety rules of the tour. The ocean and weather conditions are usually best in the morning, but we do not guarantee calm conditions or visibility. Participants are responsible for checking the conditions for the day and must be accompanied by an adult or guardian if under the age of 18.

To receive and return gear, participants must be present and are liable for any lost, stolen, or damaged gear. Gear must be returned in the same condition as received, free of sand and damage.

Snorkeling tours may be impacted by weather conditions such as strong winds, waves, or storms, and it's a good idea to check the weather forecast before the tour and be prepared for changes. All tours are subject to being canceled without prior notice.

Cancelation Policy:

At Square Grouper SoFlo, we have a strict 24-hour cancellation policy to ensure that we can properly allocate our resources and provide the best possible experience for all guests. When a reservation is made, we reserve equipment and time for your tour. Late cancellations may affect our ability to schedule other guests, and as a result, a late rescheduling fee $10 and reservation deposit $10, total of $20 per person, may be charged for a rescheduled tour.

If you choose to cancel your tour 24 hours or more before the start time, you will receive a full refund. However, cancellations made within 24 hours of the start time will not be refunded, but you will receive a credit/voucher instead. Same-day cancellations are not allowed, and no refunds will be issued.

It is the customer's responsibility to check the weather and ocean conditions for the tour day. Square Grouper SoFlo reserves the right to cancel tours in the event of unsafe weather conditions. In the case of weather-related cancellations at the customer's request, a credit/voucher will be offered. Showers are common in South Florida and usually pass within half an hour, so please do not expect a cancellation due to less-than-ideal weather. Lightning is the only weather condition that will result in a tour cancellation. If your tour is canceled by Square Grouper SoFlo/Mr. Snorkel, you will receive the option to reschedule your tour for a different day, an alternative experience, or a refund at the mangers discretion.

Please note that our guides may only be working for your reservation, so we kindly request that you inform us of any cancellations as soon as possible to allow them time to adjust their schedules. No refunds will be issued for no-shows. Thank you for your understanding."
